Curran + Korte Riggs : Greystone Piedmont Park Wedding Atlanta Georgia

Curran and Korte were married recently at Piedmont Park at Greystone. Family and friends came in from all over and we had a wonderful time shooting and hanging out at this wedding. One of the highlights of the wedding ceremony included Bina, their dog as the ring bearer. It was awesome! Also, some of the best speeches I have heard in a long time at the toast. After a wonderful dinner, the couple danced the night away with friend and family. Congrats Curran and Korte!

Katie + Kevin Pharr : Lake Oconee Wedding Cuscowilla

Katie and Kevin  contacted me about shooting their wedding at Cuscowilla at Lake Oconee and  I was pretty stoked. I love the Lake Oconee area and love shooting weddings out there.  I had the pleasure working alongside Carrie Vanderver  and her staff at the wonderful Cuscowilla Golf  Resort. When I first met Katie and Kevin, they were so warm and welcoming it was great. They share a love for common things and they both love Georgia football and Guinness.  I was in heaven! This wedding could not have asked for better weather. Its was a beautiful day. Katie had an interesting piece for her something “old” that I thought was incredible. In one of the photos below, you will see a swatch of fabric in her hands that has been passed down through the generations of a dress that was worn during President Abraham Lincoln’s inauguration.  It was a very special day with touching speeches and toast, and went into the night with fun dancing and drinks with an incredible band. Katie and Kevin, Congrats!

Maggie: McDonough Senior Portrait Photography

Senior year, I did not want my photos taken. I wanted to be at the lake skiing, at the beach, riding jet skis, anywhere but getting my photo taken. My mom finally made me go to the high school, put the cap and gown on, wear the ridiculous striped Tommy Hilfiger sweater that I thought was just the bees-knees, and smile the cheesy grins that we all had to do. And I am thankful for it.  I look at my senior portraits and wish they were as cool as they are now. When Maggie and I setup the shoot for her Senior portraits, I was excited to try out locations ( unlike my portraits in the makeshift studio in the wrestling gym of my high school). She rocked them and we had a great time hanging out and catching up. See, Maggie is my cousin that lives in Michigan. I babysat this child. Thats how awesome I am. No really. Seriously. She named one of my dogs Minnie( for Minnie Mouse) when she was little… Maggie is a wonderful person that volunteers, works, cheers, involved in EVERYTHING and still has time to do the every day teenage life. She lives in Michigan now ( boo) and wants to one day get into sports fashion and clothing. Nike, you need her. Sign her now. Anyways, these are just a few of my favs, hope you enjoy the photos!
